Doctor MA Suk Ling

Biography
Dr. Sukling Ma is a scientist in the field of genetics and bioinformatics. She is keen on unboxing the biological mechanisms underlying the association of psychiatric disorders to variants in molecular genetics. In particular, she embarks on the exploration of gene signature along the inflammatory paths, a potential common avenue to a number of neuropsychiatric conditions. She would like to see that psychiatric genetics can be advanced to a level that could be applied to daily clinical practice by informing the specific therapeutics.
