“There is no health without mental health.”
Childhood and adolescence are stages crucial to development across the life span. In recent years, the local public health system observes a growing trend of children and adolescents diagnosed with mental problems.
Echoing the global trend, the increase in mental health issues may in part due to rising awareness towards mental health and more refined diagnostic tools. However, we ought not to neglect the surging challenges faced by the young people in this faster-paced, ever-changing new age. WORK HEART will be a significant beacon.
Some reasons for you not to miss out WORK HEART:
WORK HEART is a community-wide, school-based research study. We are randomly selecting over 100 schools in Hong Kong to support the recruitment of student participants. We will randomly select students attending those schools.
Please say YES when you receive invitation from the research team through your teachers.
It is purely by chance that your are selected (in science we call it random selection).
But every participation is important as your sharing will become part of a representative full picture on the health care needs, strengths and stress in our new generation.
