Professor Patrick LEUNG Wing-leung

Biography
Prof. Patrick Leung is a clinician scientist. Trained as a clinical psychologist in The University of Hong Kong and obtained his PhD in Psychology in University of Sheffield, United Kingdom, he is a pioneering researcher in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry, cognitive processes and psychopathology, psychiatric rehabilitation, family functioning and parenting, and cognitive therapy.

Prof. Leung is currently the Director of Graduate Studies in Clinical Psychology, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. An esteemed teacher of many local clinical psychologists and researchers in child mental health, he maintains his enthusiasm in the quest for more, especially in the understanding of the psychopathology and molecular basis of attention-deficit/ hyperactivity disorder, and recently autism spectrum disorder.
